after allllll this time, blackberry decides to TRY and catch up to everything else thats already going on? Check the video out, I’m not impressed, but the BEP single plug is entertaining.. lol

Tech Tuesdays!! Rane 68 to give the djm 800 ..
a run for its money! NAMM show was this past weekend and of course all the companies debuted big new products.. One of the products to draw huge attention with the dj’s, Rane Mixer 68. Dj’s the biggest feature i think to stand out immediately for Serato dj’s is the two usb ports for seamless transition from one dj to the other without the need for a record (hi lazy deejay that never brings a, meaning 1 record). Rane and Serato had YOU in mind with this feature. Other big features include the 4 virtual decks in serato 2.0 for the dj’s that like to loop and sample to create a live multi-track, built in effects similar to the Pioneer djm 800 and things like assignable cue point buttons right on the mixer. Awesomeness all around, I want one!

Inventor of the “headphone” Marty Lange dies at 82
Headphone Inventor Dies
Martin Lange Jr.
In 1958, LANGE was the engineer who developed the prototype for the first KOSS Stereophone, later known as personal stereo headphones.
The rest is headphone history.
“MARTY LANGE was instrumental in the development of the first SP/3Stereophone,” said KOSS, founder and now chairman of the KOSS CORP. “His creativity and dedication were critical to the business we built together.”
LANGE died of natural causes last week in hospice care at his GLENDALE home. He was 82.

I wish I was there! obviously there is a ton of stuff to see there and just a few items here…. The cool part, i noticed is that a lot of the updated or new items are more eco friendly or green, meaning they consume less energy or emit less radiation. I’m waiting to see where the OLED technology goes in all the new televisions, and it would be dope to see Mac at CES next year!
