Sorry, The fight weekend had me in Vegas til Tuesday!! This week, i came across a song that was kinda different and i couldn’t decide whether i liked it or not! I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a fan of the vocoder or auto-tune thats made famous by guys like T-Pain and Kanye West and Roger & Zapp before them. So YOU decide.. What the hell?? As if a lot of folks aren’t doin the singing Zapp & Roger voicebox thing already, every song this guy puts out is the same voice box tone (proper term eludes my mind riht now). Thumbs Down! is all i have to say to this at the moment.
Now,
Keri Hilson’s “Turn Me On” feat. Lil Wayne
Odd as this may sound, I’m not tired of Lil Wayne. He’s on like every radio hit! I wasn’t the biggest fan of him early in his career and even as he blew up, but slowly he has earned my interest and earned me as a fan. Back to Keri Hilson, She has slowly crept her way into the spotlight over the years. I remember seeing her name on different songs for the past several years and maybe didn’t get the credit she deserves. She was featured several times on Timbaland’s “Shock Value” on songs such as “The Way I Are” and “Scream.” “Turn Me On” is her next single and this weeks Thumb’s UP! Go take a listen!
Lastly, I feel i should mention that Richboy’s “drop” almost made this cut this week, but i felt that it was still early. It gets the Honorable Mention this week!

Wats up Folks! so here I am, one week back from Taiwan, and already trying to go back! (updates on that tba) I miss the food! **LMFAO’s “Love Lockdown” remix: A remix of Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” from “808′s and Heartbreak” due out November 2008, makes the cut. The remix adds upbeat drums and snares and lyrics that make this song funny and danceable late in the night at the club while guys and girls are pressed up against either. Kudos!
(Notable Mention: Dj Turbulence remixes Kanye’s song as well adding a different set of drums and snares creating his own dope track. Look for that one as well..!)

**T-pain’s “Can’t Believe It” feat. Lil Wayne: I can’t stand the totality of this song. no diss to T-pain because I’m a fan. i juss dont’ like it. I’m a fan of Lil Wayne and don’t like his verse either. In the Pain’s defense, I played it at the end of the night for high school event I did and the kids reacted very well to the song. with that said, Thumbs DOWN.
