Recently i flew to Vegas to dj a few gigs and found the need to take my Akai Apc 40 with me. I was already taking a big suitcase with me because i stayed in Vegas for longer than I have ever been in Vegas. I didn’t want to carry an extra bag for the APC. I needed a backpack that would not only carry/protect my laptop and a few other necessities but would also hold my APC and a full size hard drive along with what i would normally take to a gig. Not an easy feat. I looked high and low for the right bag and finally discovered, Odyssey’s Redline Series BRL Backspin.

I verified that this bag would fit the APC-40 and decided to try this bag out for this trip. Let me say that this bag fit everything i needed to bring and still had space to spare.

The thing I like about this bag versus other bags is that it fits everything nicely and is abundantly padded..and yet when its full, it doesnt feel like you’re wearing a big ass truck on your back. For all the stuff you’re able to fit in this bag, its relatively compact.

The bag had tons of pockets and padded sections and held everything from some extra CDs to enough room for up to 20 pieces of records (who carries those anymore? :I ). I had a stanton stand neatly tucked into a pocket and the front upper pocket fits a pair of headphones in nicely so it doesn’t get smashed or broken. There were even small pockets on the side for stickers as you see in some of the pictures. All in all I like the bag. it serves its purpose very well.

Shout out to Odyssey for producing such a nice bag and just in time for my trip!
